Girl’s Day member Minah has returned to “SNL Korea” as the eighth season’s first host!
Since her debut, Minah has been known for looking similar to BIG BANG’s G-Dragon. In her last drama “My Fair Lady Kong Shim,” viewers even remarked that seeing Minah in a wig was like seeing G-Dragon make a surprise appearance.
Through the parody segment “Dubbing Theater” (tentative title), Minah transforms into G-Dragon, further confirming her uncanny resemblance to the BIG BANG member.
Using G-Dragon’s voice-over, she not only imitates G-Dragon’s movements, but his facial expressions as well. Her actions are hilariously similar to the actual footage from the documentary “BIG BANG: The Beginning.”
According to Nielsen Korea, the eighth season’s first episode garnered 1.8 percent ratings, with 2.5 percent ratings being its highest record. The next hosts for “SNL Korea” are set to be the members of 2PM, and will air on September 10.
