Psy came back with his long-awaited song, ‘Gentleman’, and it hit 10 million views in just 17 hours since it was unveiled.
The new song ‘Gentleman’ was uploaded on Psy’s Youtube official channel, and at 2p.m. on April 14, it hit 10.7million hits.
The music video for Psy’s latest song was unveiled on April 13, and in just 17 hours, it was clicked 10 million times. The number is increasing at an incredible pace – the video is viewed 580,000 times an hour.
Viewers of the video commented, “this is awesome! Psy is breaking his own record”, “the more you watch it, the more you are addicted”, and “the line ‘Mother, Father, Gentleman’ is absolutely addictive”
His previous song ‘Gangnam Style’ broke the record on Youtube when it hit 1.5 billion views on April 6.
All eyes are on Psy now to see if he can break his own world record with his new music video that was released on April 13.
His latest video clip was revealed at his concert dubbed Happening for the first time on April 13. At Sangam World Cup Stadium, 45,000 fans joined him while the entire concert was streamed live on Youtube.
Cho Soo-hyun, who directed ‘Gangnam Style’ was again in charge of ‘Gentleman.’ Ga In from Brown Eyed Girls, and the members from MBC’s entertainment program Infinite Challenge (Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo, Jeong Jun-ha, Jeong Hyun-don, Noh Hong-chul and HaHa) joined Psy as cameos in the music video.
