Super Junior’s Sungmin re-cast in ‘Jack the Ripper’

Super Junior’s Sungmin and J-Min will perform together in the musical Jack the Ripper.

The musical is based on an unidentified serial killer who was active in London in 1888. It started performing early in 2009 and continued drawing a lot of attention.

Sungmin plays the role of Daniel, who starts making dangerous deals to protect a girl, who he loves. He also appeared in the musical as Daniel last year and captured the audience with his talented singing and acting skills. As a result, he earned a chance reprise his role in the musical once again.

J-Min plays the role of the most attractive girl in London Gloria. J-Min, a singer from SM Entertainment, has been attending SM Town Live Concerts and SM Town winter album projects. She also showed off her talented voice through KBS’s Wild Romance and MBC’s Moosin and The King 2 Hearts.

The musical will start performing on July 20 at the National Theater in Seoul. Shin Sung Woo, Yoo Jun Sang, Um Ki Joon, and Sonya will appear in the musical as well.
