Jang Geun Suk to sing the theme song for Japanese animation

Hallyu star, Jang Geun Suk, will be singing the theme song for a Japanese animation.

Jang Geun Suk’s “200 Miles“, which will be featured on his first album ‘Just Crazy’, will be used as the theme song for the animation ‘Fairy Tail – Shaman of the Phoenix‘ which premiers on August 18th.

‘Fairy Tail’ has been featured on the popular Japanese manga magazine, ‘Weekly Shounen’, since 2006 and still remains a very popular.

Jang Geun Suk wrote on his Japanese homepage, “For the first time, my song has become the theme song for an animation. I hope a lot of people will enjoy the show and music.”

In related news, Jang Geun Suk’s ‘Just Crazy’ album will be released May 30th.
