Super Junior’s Kyuhyun recently donated 2.54 tons of rice (10 kilograms 254 rice bags) to the Nowon District, where he was born.
On February 7, Kyuhyun’s father Cho Young Hwan visited Nowon District Office and delivered 2.54 tons of rice that Kyuhyun received when he performed in the musical The Three Musketeers.
Nowon District distributed the rice to senior citizens and households in absolute poverty on February 7 and 8.
Kyuhyun have donated 6.5 tons of rice so far. Over 50,000 children, who can’t afford their meals, can have a meal with that amount of rice.
M Musical Company, production company for the musical, also donated about 20 tons of rice that they received when they performed Rock of Ages and Jack the Ripper.
