First, I have no photos, just a few blurry ones at the end. Boo. They were super strict. It was a small venue so you couldn't even sneak photos. Seungri came in and addressed the fans. He looked damn hot. There were three sections of chairs so he declared us Team A, B, and C. I was Team C. My seat was way on the side near the wall. I didn't have any chairs in front of me, so I was very exposed being the only non-Asian girl there.
He said we should play a game...long story short, he came to Team C and he came up the stairs in front of me, looked at me, then chose a girl in the row in front of me. It was a Korean game but I almost volunteered because I had an answer, but I'm so glad I didn't because... you'll see.
So the fan sign started. I was number 148 so I had to sit and wait for an hour and some. But you could watch each row being called up and see him sign for them. They weren't really giving much time to anyone. One up, one down.
At some point GD came running in from a door in the back of the audience. He had 2 CDs and cut line so Seungri could sign them. Seungri asked for the mic to be turned on and he asked, "What's your name?" GD said, "I'm Jiyong."
Seungri signed, and they posed for pics. GD then went around the table to try to jump on him and wrap him in a hug. Seungri jokingly motioned for security. After that, GD was out the side door.
So finally it was my turn. I smiled confidently towards him in a flirty way and said "hello" in Korean. He said "Hello" in English. So I was about to say the "script" I had prepared and he asked, "Where are you from?" in English. I was like, "Uh...I'm from the US." in English.
His question threw me off. So I started sputtering out our mutual acquaintances and how we've crossed paths before. My Korean was rough, not my usual fluency at all. And then he smiled up at me and said, "Thank you." and offered his hand for me to shake. So I shook his hand, smiled nicely, and walked off.
So after another 30 minutes, he finally finished. He got up to speak again. This time he said that we can ask him questions, starting with Team A. So they raised their hands and he called on a couple of people and answered their questions. Then Team B, 2 questions, then he came to Team C.
Lots of people raised their hands, but not me. I was just there for the show, trying to hide and melt, even though I really stuck out. He called on one girl for a question.
This is where it gets good for me. The following takes place all in English. He turned away from my section and said into the microphone, "Christina..." (my name) singing it like I was in trouble.
I went, "Me?!"
He said, "Yeah, you...Christina...it's your turn."
I stood up and he said in Korean, "Hey, everyone. This is Christina, and she's from the US. Give her a hand!"
*everyone cheered*
He said, "Ok, Christina, go."
Me: "Uh...can I give you a hug?" and I smiled and make a hugging motion.
Him: "No no no...you have to ask me a question."
Me: "But that is my question! Oh, ok...let me think. Ah! Do you like New York or LA better?" (I was so off-guard that this is the first thing that went through my head.)

He translated the question for everyone, then he explained that he loved both places to them for different reasons. Then he turned back to me,
Him: "So Christina, New York or LA, it's like choosing mother or father!"
Me: "Oh ok."
Him: "Christina, where are YOU from?"
Me: "Nashville."
Him: "HUH?!"
Me: *korean pronunciation of Nashville*
Him: "Na-she-buh-buh-buh???" I laughed.
Him: "Nevermind. Christina, you have to ask me a personal question now."
Me: "Ok, let me think. OH! Where do you take your dates in Seoul?" and I asked with a huge smile.
He translated the question, and everyone cheered and squealed. He acted embarrassed like he didn't date. Everyone was yelling out places and suggestions. Finally...
Him: "Christina, the answer is...NOTHING!"
I laughed.

A bunch of other stuff happened like a sing-a-long, but I now fail to recall because I was enjoying the afterburn of the situation that had just happened. I definitely got special treatment having been called out by name, then forced to ask so many questions. Even now I still feel so giddy and am reliving it all in my mind over and over again. What an incredible experience!
