A new musical “Bonnie and Clyde” is set to heat up the scene. SHINee‘s Key, ZE:A‘s Park Hyung Sik, Eom Ki Joon, and musical actor Han Ji Sang are among the stars on center stage to alternate on the male lead role, the gangster Clyde.
As global K-Pop stars, Key and Park Hyung Sik are expected to seduce the audience with their eye-catching appearance. Eom Ki Joon brings in his considerable acting experience not only in musical theater but also in dramas and films. This is not the first time that Key and Eom Ki Joon have worked together; the two also alternated for the lead role in the 2012 staging of the musical “Catch Me if You Can.”
“Bonnie and Clyde” also stars The Grace‘s Dana, Lisa, and Ahn Yoo Jin in the female title role of Bonnie.
The musical “Bonnie and Clyde” is about the two lovers and outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who rose to notoriety in the Great Depression era in the United States. It was first staged in 2009 and then ran briefly in Broadway in 2011.
The Korean production of “Bonnie and Clyde” opens in Seoul on September 4 and continues until October 27.
