Broadcasting for the first time on the 27th this May, “Cruel City” is about three men and women’s fight for love in between a struggle between police and drug gangs. The leading acts are Lee Jae-yoon, Nam Gyoo-ri, Go Na-eun and more.
With the fresh subject of being “Cruel City”, this drama is unpredictable with a quick layout and fancy action scales.
Jeong Kyeong-ho takes on the role of Si-hyeon, a man who has to live a cold life in the smuggling gang. Lee Jae-yoon takes on the role of Hyeong-min who chases after him with everything on the line and Nam Gyoo-ri is Kyeong-mi who meets her whirlpool-like fate.
Jeong Kyeong-ho said, “I knew this was the role for me as soon as I read about it. I am anxious every moment I’m on set and I can’t wait”.
Nam Gyoo-ri also claims, “I am going to put my all into this character. ” Son Chang-min and Kim Yoo-mi will also be added to this ensemble.
Lee Jeong-hyo claims, “Like romance in a noir film, the drama will focus on wild men’s passions and disappointing love. The sad love story between the men and the woman who have no choice but to bury their feelings in their hearts will linger like no other”.
