Mnet will be streaming Psy′s concer live.
Psy′s exclusive concert Happening, to take place on April 13, will be relayed live exclusively through CJ E&M′s Mnet, and they′re even planning to use helicopers.
Mnet chief producer An So Yeon said through an official press release on April 5, “The Psy concert is a global festival that draws interest from fans not only inside, but also outside the country, and we expect many more than the 50,000 attending the concert to gather at the scene that day. It will probably be the biggest crowd [on the streets] since the 2002 World Cup. We′re preparing helicopers and more to effectively contain the passion that will radiate from the concert.”
The channel will even be filming from helicopers in an unprecedented grand scale project, and the surroundings of the venue will also be caught on camera.
CJ will not only be hosting the concert but also a brand festival in the surrounding area to perfect the festive mood.
Happening will be the biggest concert Psy has performed for in his career, with over 3 billion won being used to produce it.
The concert will also be relayed live through YouTube and Naver.
