K-Pop’s popularity in Vietnam was realized.
KBS aired the recording of the March 15 ‘Vietnam Korea Festival’ on April 6, 6:05PM KST in greeting the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam. The festival was held at Vietnam National Convention Center in Ha Noi on March 15 hosted by Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung and Vietnamese broadcaster Nguyen Khang.

The stage was led by talented idol groups such as IU, CNBLUE, MBLAQ, SISTAR, SECRET, Davichi, BEAST, Super Junior and Vietnamese singer Ho Quynh Huong. As K-Pop stars appeared on stage Vietnamese fans cheered in a loud response.
K-Pop stars even showed very clear fan service. MBLAQ’s Thunder and SISAR’s Hyorin performed ‘Love in Hanoi’ as a special stage. Especially Davichi’s ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’ followed by Vietnamese song driving the crowd into frenzy.
Idol group Super Junior made the grand finale of the festival. The audience stirred as Super Junior made its appearance on stage. Vietnamese fans enthusiastically followed Super Junior’s choreography of ‘Superman,’ ‘Sorry Sorry’ realizing their popularity.
Afterwards all the Korean and Vietnamese artists sang together Michael Jackson’s ‘Heal The World’ closing the beautiful night full of memories to an end.
