2PM’s Nickhun receives Kerd grand prize

2PM’s Nickhun recently gave his acceptance speech at the Kerd Awards.

Nickhun attended the Kerd Awards, which was held on March 30 at the Crystal Design Center, and received the grand prize. He was voted one of the most powerful people in Thailand.

Nickhun said, “Its an honor to be nominated for such a big prize. I still can’t believe I received the grand prize. It’s like a dream. I will try harder to live up to your expectations. I would like to sincerely thank you for always supporting me.”

The Kerd Awards is an awards ceremony led by Thailand’s popular entertainment and talk show host Woody. It selects the most powerful people in 7 categories, including music and comedy.

Nickhun kept busy in Thailand last year and was nominated for the “Kerd of the Year.” People voted through methods like SMS via local cell phones in Thailand.

Nickhun was very active as a member of 2PM and as a representative for various products. He also appeared on a Thai movie recently as an actor and drew a lot of attention.

Nickhun will also attend 2PM’s concert on April 5 and 6 in Tokyo, Japan.
