The producer Laurieann Gibson who took the lead position as director for 2012 Big Bang Alive Tour, praised Big Bang.
At the press conference before the concert of 2012 Big Bang Alive Tour that was held On March 2 at 5:00 p.m, Laurieann said, “I have worked with many celebrities so far, but Big Bang has such unique and special charms.”
He continued, “I’m touched at how hard they work despite their young age. They are talented and special. G-Dragon and T.O.P are especially outstanding. Seungri is strong for his young age. Daesung is like a rocker: passionate and hardworking. Lastly, Taeyang reminds me of Michael Jackson.”
Laurieann explained about the concept of this concert, “I was inspired by Big Bang to come up with this ‘Alive’ concept. I was impressed by Big Bang. I even imagined them receiving awards on MTV. I plan to focus on making Big Bang’s music more popular worldwide. Their vintage and futuristic style will be crucial in succeeding worldwide.”
Laurieann confessed, “As for top Asian stars, I have worked with Japan’s SMAP before. I do not see any difference between Big Bang and world stars. Language sometimes gives me a hard time, but we have no trouble communicating with music and dancing.”
He also stated, “I have met other Korean artists through Big Bang. I plan to work with more Korean or Asian artists in the future. I’m glad to make Live Nation more known in Korea through this opportunity.”
Laurieann Gibson choreographed for many of Lady Gaga’s hit songs and recently directed Lady Gaga’s The Monter Ball Tour. The performance and choreographies that Laurieann prepare are known to be innovative and powerful.
Big Bang who will go on a world tour with the release of their new album, will perform 2012 Big Show Big Bang Alive Tour for three days at Olympic Gymnasium from March 2 to 4.
