Here is some useful general knowledge of food poisoning

In hot and humid weather, concerns about food poisoning rise. Here is a great opportunity to check how much you know about food poisoning.
It is widely known that food poisoning can be prevented if you eat food that has been properly heated, but this is not necessarily so. Most of the germs that cause food poisoning are killed when food is pasteurized at a temperature above 70 degrees. However some hardier viruses and bacteria, such as staphylococcus, are not easily eliminated even at such high temperatures. Anyone who has a staphylococcal infection should be cautioned not to touch food.
It is common for leftovers to be stored in a freezer. In this case, the temperature of the freezer should be set at under 15 degrees below zero. Above that, some bacteria can remain active. In addition, frozen food shouldn’t be defrosted at room temperature. As the temperature of food’s surface reaches room temperature, viruses and bacteria that cause food poisoning can thrive on it.
It is known that water can provide a cure for food poisoning. However,  500 ml of boiled water mixed with four teaspoons of sugar and a teaspoon of salt will work better than plain water because the mixture will make up for sodium and potassium chlorate lost because of diarrhea.
When you have no appetite, a thin rice gruel or rice porridge that are gree of fat will be effective. If possible, take nutritional supplements such as protein for a quicker recovery.
