Yoo Ah In shoots ‘King of Fashion,’ “I’m very confident”

Actor Yoo Ah In recently talked about his feelings on shooting SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday series King of Fashion.

Yoo shot the series for the first time in Seoul. He for one of the scenes, he performed a wire stunt in which he jumped out of a third story window.

The scene took over three hours to shoot in sub zero temperatures. He took off one of his socks and shot over twenty takes for the wire stunt. Even though the wind chill factor hit minus 10 degrees, Yoo passionately shot the scene over and over again.

Yoo said, “I heard that I would have to do a wire stunt today but I didn’t know that I would have to do it by myself. I was a little bit scared but I had a lot of fun shooting the series.”

He added, “Even though it was my first time shooting, all the production crew members, including producer Lee Myung Woo, are all working hard. They have given me the confidence to act passionately. Since so many passionate people have gathered together in the same place, I’m sure the series will be great.”

The series is about young people who become successful designers. Yoo will play the role of Kang Young Gul, who had a hard childhood and lived with his aunt. But he becomes a successful designer, thanks to his ability to concentrate all his energy into fashion.

Besides Yoo, Shin Se Kyung, Jang Mi Hee, Lee Jae Hoon, and SNSD’s Yuri will appear on the series. The first episode of the series will air on March 12.
