Wonder Girls is poised to appeal to American TV viewers

Wonder Girls releases a film in theU.S.for the first time as a Korean singer, which features their moving friendship and their arduous journey to advance into the American music world.
Their film, The Wonder Girls, will be aired on Teen Nick, a channel for teenagers run by Viacom MTV Networks, one of the top four global media giants. In the film, the four girls showed off their excellent command of English and well-honed acting skills.
Through the channel, known for its high household audience rating, the film is planned to air six times in total. The film is watched by the local media and relevant people in the entertainment industry with keen interest.
Earlier, the music video of “The DJ Is Mine,” Wonder Girls’ new song, was unveiled via the 2012 CES. In the MV, we can have a brief peek into some scenes of the upcoming film. The charismatic performance and addictive music was fantastic enough to raise expectations for the film. When it was previewed on January 20 in Los Angeles, The Wonder Girls was well received and broke up the whole crowd.
JYP Entertainment, Wonder Girls’ agency, says, “The Wonder Girls might be one of the biggest projects we have held since we stepped into this new huge market. That’s why we have a high expectation for the film. We ask for your continuous interest and support.”
