TVXQ’s Changmin will appear in a Japanese movie.
Changmin will play the role of a North Korean spy named Momo who disguises himself as a student in the movie Run Away with Gold.
The movie is based on the Japanese best seller novel of the same title written by Dakamura Gaoru. The novel is about six men who steal gold in Osaka. The novel received the 3rd Grand Prize for Japanese Detective Suspense.
Director Izutsu Kazuyuki, who directed the movie We Shall Overcome Someday, will direct the movie. Changmin will appear on the movie with other Japanese actors, including, Tsumabuki Satoshi, Asano Tadanobu, and Nishida Toshiyuki.
The production crew started shooting the movie last month and the movie will be released in Japan this fall.
TVXQ is currently touring Japan holding the ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012 Tone.’
