On the February 2 episode of KBC’s popular Wednesday-Thursday drama series Wild Romance, SNSD’s Jessica showed off amazingly inspired performance as Jong Hee, an ex-girlfriend of Mu Yeol, played by Lee Dong Wook.
Jong Hee said goodbye to Mu Yeol for fear that her severe manic depressive illness would give a trouble to him. Years later they meet again, but Jong Hee gets to undergo an ordeal by a lurking stalker who has been out for a chance at revenge against Mu Yeol.
On the 10th episode, Jong Hee’s cat is brutally killed by the stalker. In front of the severely killed body, Jong Hee has a severe seizure, writhing in great agony and trembling with fear, which makes Mu Yeol’s heart broken.
Mu Yeol is trying to calm her saying over and over, “It’s alright, alright,” but her condition seems to get worse.
On the 9th episode, the romantic kiss scene between Mu Yeol and Jong Hee made viewers’ heart flutter, drawing much attention to her cheerful, lively character. On the latest episode, however, Jong Hee succeeded in transforming herself into a woman who has a dark, gloomy aspect in her personality and life’s journey.
Viewers as well highly praised her inspired performance: “I can say that Jessica will be a good actor.” “Your acting lived up to my expectation.” “I really felt sorry for Jong Hee who suffers from manic depressive illness.”
At the end of the episode, Mu Yeol asked Eun Jae, played by Lee Shi Young, to act as escort for Jong Hee.
