Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young’s ‘City Hunter’ adds 6 episodes in Japan

SBS’s series City Hunter will air six more episodes in Japan.
Japanese Fuji TV announced on their official website that they will add six more episodes of City Hunter in Seoul. As a result, they will air 26 episodes in total.
They decided to add six more episodes because they had to edit all the episodes of the series to make them shorter than original ones in order to insert commercials in them.
The series started airing on May 25 through July 28 of last year in Korea and was loved by many people. The series started airing in June in Japan on Fuji TV.
Fuji TV inserted 8 minute-long commercial in each 53 minute-long episode of the series. Therefore, they had to edit each episode into 45 minutes. However, they decided to changed the ending scene to air most of the scenes from the series.
Four episodes of the series have aired so far. The series is ranked high in several portal sites’ search words list and receiving an explosive response.
Lee’s another TV series MBC’s Personal Taste, which aired in 2010 in Korea, will also start airing on February 21 on TBS in Japan.
An official for the broadcasting says, “Many people are paying attention to Lee’s series. This is the first terrestrial broadcast after Boys over Flowers aired. People are saying that Lee is a dangerous man because once you’ve fallen in love with him, you won’t able to get out of him.”
Since City Hunter aired in the Philippines, France, and Thailand, Lee has over 4,500,000 friends from all over the world on his Facebook account. The series will also air in other countries, including Indonesia.
