Ivy broke up with her songwriter boyfriend who helped her make her 3rd album. The relationship accordingly, seemed to "just naturally drift apart." When song writer Kim Taesung was asked for an interview, he replied "I'm busy right now, I'll call you later." But he never called back and didn't respond to any of the messages, implying that the couple had indeed broken up. After Ivy made a come back in 2009, she slipped into a 2 year blank period with little activity. The relationship apparently simply dissolved thereafter.
