Car accident and marijuana, Big Bang’s Daesung and G-Dragon talk about the unsavory incidents

Big Bang’s Daesung and G-Dragon made a guest appearance on SBS TV’s talk show Healing Camp, Aren’t you happy? and told the audience their feelings about the unsavory incidents they experienced and how they’ve been doing.

On February 10, assistant producer Ahn Jae Cheol of Healing Camp reported to TV Report, “On February 8, we shot an episode of Healing Camp at YG Entertainment’s office for 8 to 9 hours. The reason we chose YG Entertainment’s office for the shooting was to be considerate of our guests.”

Daesung and G-Dragon had to stop all their activities on TV to have time for self-reflection after they got involved in some unsavory incidents like a car accident, in which a person died, and smoking marijuana.

In regard to this, producer Ahn said, “Daesung and G-Dragon calmly talked about the difficult times they went through. They also told their anecdotes about the time when they just debuted and their plans for the future. It was impressive because they frankly talked about themselves throughout the shooting. At the end of the shooting, all other Big Bang members made a surprise guest appearance to cheer them on.”

This is Big Bang’s first appearance on TV before their comeback on February 19 with their fifth mini album.Healing Camp – Daesung and G-Dragon will air at the end of this month after the episode of Yun Jong Shin is finished on February 13.

On May 31, 2011, Daesung hit a street lamp and a person, who fell on the road, while drinking and driving. Because he didn’t assure a safe distance, his mistake was acknowledged. However, the prosecution ruled the suspect not guilty because it was concluded that he was not related to the death of the victim.

G-Dragon tested positive for marijuana In mid-May during Big Bang’s Japanese tour. During the police investigation, he stated, “I smoked a cigarette that a Japanese man gave me, but I immediately threw it away because it tasted weird.” Because it was his first time smoking marijuana and he didn’t smoke much, he was suspended of indictment.
