Lee Joongi’s fans have prepared to throw an event to celebrate the official discharge from army. The concert is all sold out in just a minute after its advance ticket sales are opened at the online ticket sales site, Interpark.
It is a rare case that the event to celebrate any celebrity’s discharge from army is held along with about 1,500 fans. The audience includes both Korean fans and foreign fans fromJapan,Chinaand other countries in various continents.
Lee expresses his deep gratitude towards fans by saying, “I want to deliver my sincere, heartfelt gratitude for fans who have shown constant love and support. I will reciprocate the love through a good work, rather than sugarcoated words.”
Lee has expanded his fan base covering lots of foreign fans as well as Korean fans. He is a competent actor but also highly praised for his singing and dancing abilities who can create fantastic performances on stage.
His fan meeting tour with Japanese fans, Coming Back, scheduled to be held in March, was all sold out as soon as the sales were opened, leading to the one additional concert in the concert tour schedule.
The concert to celebrate his discharge will be held at downtown Seoul on February 16 when he is discharged upon completing his military service.
