ZE:A Donates Concert Proceeds to a Charity

ZE:A successfully completed their first party concert called Na:Num last Dec. 26. AX-KOREA in downtown Seoul was jam-packed with hundreds of Korean and foreigner fans wearing red coats, headbands, ribbons and hats, trying to keep the beat of the party’s color motif. Before the concert proper, there were stalls selling goodies and a waffle store for the fundraising event. Thanks to the fans, even for a short period of time, the event was able to raise 2,959,000 won. Proceeds will be donated to Good People, an international development NGO.
The concert as it is called Na:Num, literally means to distribute or to share, is one of the charity events that ZE:A will be holding from now on. They said, they hope to have more party concerts in the future for the purpose of raising funds for charity at the same time have fun with their fans. ZE:A will also hold many volunteering activities in the upcoming year so Watch Out!
Wonder why it’s called party concert? The name itself tells you everything. It was a concert but the atmosphere was like a party. It was more interactive than any other normal concerts. Aside from singing their hit singles, the group also danced Kara’s Mister and Step, Wonder Girls’ Be My Baby and Rania’s Doctor Feel Good.

There were also many activities installed for the fans. Before the concert started fans wrote their wishes in a piece of paper and pasted it on the wall ala “tree of wishes” just like a leaf. Later in the concert nine lucky fans were able to successfully fulfill their wishes. Most of their wishes were to hug and be serenaded by one the members. And most of the lucky fans picked Minwoo and Hyungsik making other ZE:A members extremely jealous. Not to mention the fans too. Also, it seems that some fans will be starting their 2012 together with ZE:A. There was another event, a raffle draw, where they picked ten lucky fans to join with them in a volunteering activity early January next year. At the encore part, many fans were invited on the stage to dance with them just like in a party. Then, suddenly, the boys became Santa Clauses throwing gifts to the fans from a big sack of gifts.

The group said their Christmas was not celebrated on the 25th, they purposely delayed it for one more day to celebrate it with their fans.
