Singapore K-Pop Fans Unite at ULTIMATE DJ MASA Party!

“Dance like there’s no tomorrow” would be the best description of the successful return of DJ MASA’S THE ULTIMATE K-POP PARTY in Singapore!
If you want your usual party beat anthems, the K-pop fangirls and boys rejoice as DJ Masa brings in the chart toppers and popular K-pop tunes as 17th December, 2011‘s beat anthems to bring on the roof of pretty boys and sexy girls!
Get the crowd to gear up and get the groove started is noneother than the familiar face of DJ S. Junior who is dubbed as the Yoo Jae Suk look-a-like! Well, what do you guys think? His black specs and thin body frame certainly reminds us of the South Korean National MC! From T-Ara to Girls Generation, BIGBANG toInfinite, he spun the latest and most hottest tracks that is still sung live on the weekly Korean Music Programs. But of course, everyone was so much eagerly waiting for DJ MASA to come down!
The moment has finally arrived – he came at 9:30PM!
Setting up whilst DJ S. Junior cranked up the beat and hype, and one by one more attendees start to leave their seats to join in the front crowd, the setting of the party couldn’t be better as it has a stage as well to complement the program of the night – dance by the new group under JigAsia, JUNG!
A new dance group that consists of two hottest girls and boys, they’re the only dance group you need to keep an eye on for the next JigAsia event – dancing perfectly off with extra improvisations from the popular and most dance-worthy K-pop songs, from Goodbye Baby Miss A to SHINee’s Lucifer, they did it with one smooth motion that enchanted the crowd at the stage!
Hats off to the venue Coco Club Singapore as they house K-pop music as their regular beats to play. In addition to our favorite tunes blasting, the clubgoers will also find Live Band Performances followed by DJ sets every night, with each sets lasts for about an hour.
This could be called as your new second house when you end your day activities! COCO music genrefocuses of Asian Pop – more than you can expect, resident singers and dancers doing K-pop hits and well-choreographed dance moves are performed at the stage.
All in all, the DJ sets are very much like what Masa played – a fusion of K-pop and current top 40’s!
There’s only one way to describe the situation between 9:30PM to where the sweet dreams end at midnight: Realm. By the new live mixes brought by DJ MASA aka MASAMIXES, we were transported into a new realm of pure K-pop. It was the only place to be to dance and groove to the latest mash-up and hits by the one and only hit wonder, all the way from Belem, Brazil, to come down and rock hardcore K-pop blast!
Our favorites including live requests and our fans that requested before the event happened via Twitter, DJ MASA listened to every single fan, and all the way from old favorite mashupsKpop in a G6, Party Rock Anthem to Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, as by the high demand from his previous action, he brings his tables live and spins across the room new tracks that has never been released – created over just the 2 days spent in Singapore!
More than ever, it was a fever of K-pop and the old favorites of Western Pop, just the right amount of it to fuse it well with the familiar Asian hits we love most. Club favorites 2PM ‘Hands Up’, 2NE1 Song of the Year ‘I Am The Best’, GDTOP’s ‘High High’ was played as well.
Like Cinderella, all K-Pop fans had to say goodbye and stopped partying as it ended with a blast of his new mash-up with the collaboration of Super Junior’s own Shindong, ‘Shin’s Family!’
A night to remember, and to never forget, it was the best way to close 2011 for SIngaporeans who isn’t K-popfied enough, got into mayhem with the local reporter, more permanent Korean parties, and for the events that is to come in 2012 – we rumor that YG Family will come to Singapore!
If you missed out the amazing weekend of these two parties and with more insider scoop, check out whathappened during the two parties up close!
