T-ara are performing the Shuffle for their new song.
A 22-minute-long music video for T-ara’s new song, “Lovey Dovey,” will be released on January 2 next year. T-ara, who have always tried new concepts when they perform new songs, will also try a change this time. They are performing the Shuffle, currently hot inside and outside of Korea, for “Lovey Dovey” to make a strong impression on their fans.
On December 26, a spokesperson for T-ara reported to Starnews, “About 90% of the choreography of T-ara’s ‘Lovey Dovey’ is the Shuffle. T-ara have learned the dance from an expert until now.”
He also said, “T-ara are also aiming at making the Shuffle to be loved by the Korean nation. In order to achieve this, they are going to perform the Shuffle that will surprise everyone.”
In the domestic music scene, boy group 2PM performed the Shuffle for “I’ll Be Back” last year. However, for girl groups, T-ara is the first to perform the Shuffle. So many people now are interested in their performance for “Lovey Dovey.”
T-ara’s disco dance for “Roly Poly” made a big hit in this summer, and such retro dances of the 70s and 80s as disco and the Hustle became very popular among many people. This is why many people are now interested in T-ara’s Shuffle.
T-ara are going to show the Shuffle for “Lovey Dovey” for the first time in January next year.
The Shuffle is popular as a dance that Hallyu star Jang Keun Suk and soccer player Ki Sung-Yeung enjoy. It is characterized by its fast steps.
T-ara’s “Cry Cry” and ballad song, “We Were In Love,” created in collaboration with Davichi, are also currently popular.
