Infinite’s Sung Kyu, Woo Hyun, and Seo In Guk, the winner of Super Star K, debut as musical actors.
Recently, their appearance on the musical Gwanghwamun Love Song is decided and it will be held at LG Art Center in Seoul on February 7 next year.
Gwanghwamun Love Song is a jukebox musical composed of the late composer Lee Young Hoon’s hit songs such as “Old Love” and “After Love Gone.” It was first performed last year at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
Sung Kyu and Woo Hyun play Yeo Joo’s son, Ji Young. The character Ji Young takes Sang Hoon who lives in the present back to the past, and this role was previously played by B2ST’s Yang Yo Seop.
On the other hand, Seo In Guk plays Hyun Woo, with another musical actor Lee Yul. Hyun Woo falls in love with a woman of his closest friend, but is not able to stop loving her. Also, he protects his older brother Sang Hoon despite knowing that he will lose everything if he protects him.
Sung Kyu and Woo Hyun said, “We will be prepared and stick faithfully with the given character and be recognized as musical actors.” Seo said, “I will pour my effort into giving the best musical performance as I’ve had this passion for musicals.”
Besides Sung Kyu, Woo Hyun, and Seo In Guk, Yoon Do Hyun, Jo Sung Mo, Lee Yul, Lisa, Jung Won Young, Park Jung Hwan, Choi Jae Woon, Kim Tae Han, Kim Young Joo, and Gu Won Young play in Gwanghwamun Love Song, and the tickets will be available on January 3 at 3:00 p.m. next year.
