On the 12th episode of Poseidon aired on the 25th, Sun Woo (played by Choi Siwon) confessed his love to Soo Yoon (Lee Siyoung).

Sun Woo previously asked Jung Ryul (played by Lee Sung Jae), who questioned Sun Woo about his will to investigate, to exclude Soo Yoon from the dangerous investigation.

He, sitting next to Soo Yoon, asked her, “can’t you quit your work at the investigation unit 9? I’m asking you seriously.” Soo Yoon thought of that as disdain but Sun Woo said, “I just don’t want you to get hurt,” explaining it was neither a disdain nor a worry.

To her question, “what if I get kidnapped by Heuksahoe?” he strongly stated, “then I will look for you in my own way regardless of the law.”

The romance between them started like that and they were about to have their first kiss. However, right at the moment, someone disrupted the mood. It was Dae Sung (played by Park Sung  Kwang) who disturbed them. Soo Yoon, being mad at Dae Sung who not only disrupted their first kiss but also teased them, strongly pushed him away.

The story of their romance lifted the whole mood of Poseidon, raising the audience’s expectation about progress in their relationship. For a while, the drama has been increasing its tension but letting the audience down later by repeating stories of making progress in investigation but coming back to square one later.
