Mblaq ranks second place on Oricon Charts

Mblaq’s second Japanese single “Baby U!” sold 22,068 copies on the 26h, the day of the release and ranked second place on Oricon Charts after AKB48.

This single proved its popularity by ranking first place on Tower Record Daily Chart, and Recochoku, a ringtone downloading site.

Priviously in May, Mblaq ranked first place on Oricon Charts with their first single ,”Your Luv”, and now established a solid foothold in Japanese entertainment field with their second single. Mblaq left for Japan on the 25th, and held various promotion events before the sale of the album.

On the 26h, the day of the sale, Tokyo’s biggest record shop, Tower Record was overcrowded due to Mblaq’s appearance. Tower Record decorated the first floor as the ‘Mblaq Zone’, putting up huge posters, and panels, and also displayed Mblaq mannequins.

Japanese media are praising Mblaq as ‘The Ultimate K-pop Monster’, ‘The Five Vampire Monsters unlike other K-pop artists’.

Mblaq will hold, High Touch & Bingo Game in celebration of their second single release at Tokyo, Osaka, and Nakoya respectively.
