BIG BANG’S “BANG BANG BANG” MV SURPASSED 50M VIEWS FOLLOWING “LOSER”

The music video of “BANG BANG BANG”, group BIG BANG’s new song for June, has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube.
As of August 24 at 8am, the music video of “BANG BANG BANG” surpassed 50 million views, recording 50,118,630 views on YouTube. The record was set within two months and 24 days from its released on June 1. That was the second record of 50 million views in “MADE SERIES”, following the same record of “LOSER”’s music video that surpassed the 50 million mark on the 2 of this month.
“BANG BANG BANG” was included in “MADE SERIES”’s second album “A” and it enjoyed a big popularity with its exciting beat and sound that fit the summer season, sweeping top places on music charts upon its release. The music video of the song also drew a lot of attention for its fancy and sensual visual and BIG BANG members’ dynamic but comfortable performance. On the 21st of last month, the video was selected as June’s most-watched K-pop music video in America and the world on YouTube by Billboard, proving BIG BANG’s global popularity.
With such continuous popularity of “MADE SERIES”, BIG BANG has been carrying out world tour in which they meet fans around the world. On August 4 at 9am, the performance of “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and making video of the Chengdu concert of “BIG BANG 2015 WORLD TOUR MADE” was unveiled. The video was released on NAVER TV CAST to vividly show BIG BANG’s performances staged at Chengdu Sports Center in China on August 14. Notably, the making video is all the more eye-catching, as the scene of fans celebrating G-Dragon’s birthday – August 18 – with “Happy GDAY” slogan and the members singing happy birthday song with fans is included.
Notably, the concert held jointly by YG, “LIVE NATION”, and “STAR GROUP” drew 30,000 fans, setting the record of highest-ever number of audience and ticket sale volume in Chengdu. Before that, BIG BANG’s Shanghai tour held from June 19 to 21 set the record of the first-ever three consecutive concerts by a K-pop singer in China.
Meanwhile, BIG BANG took the No.1 in SBS “INKIGAYO” with “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” on the 23, for two weeks in a row. BIG BANG is also sweeping other music shows, taking the No.1 with GD&TOP’s “ZUTTER” in Mnet “M-Countdown” on the 20, with “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” in MBC “Show Music Center” for two consecutive weeks, and in KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on the 22.

BIG BANG & EPIK HIGH’S PERFORMANCE AT A-NATION FESTIVAL WAS GREAT SUCCESS ENTHRALLING 55,000 JAPANESE FANS

On August 22, BIG BANG and Epik High performed at the A-Nation festival organized by Avex Group and held at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, capturing the hearts of 55,000 Japanese fans. It was Epik High’s first time to perform at the A-Nation festival. BIG BANG has participated in the festival for the second year in a row as the headliner.
Epik High kicked off their performance with their “BORN HATER” song and continued to sing their hit songs such as “FLY” and “LOVE LOVE LOVE.” Their finale song was “DON’T HATE ME.” Together with their SUMMER SONIC 2015 concert recently held in Tokyo and Osaka, Epik High’s performance at the A-Nation festival left a strong impression on Japanese fans.
BIG BANG did the finale stage for the festival. This was the third time for BIG BANG to participate in the A-Nation festival and the second time as the headliner. BIG BANG kicked off their performance with “BANG BANG BANG” from their “MADE” album. After that, they sang their recent and old hit songs such as “LOSER” to “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”, “BAE BAE”, “SOBER”, “TONIGHT”, “HANDS UP”, and “FANTASTIC BABY.” They performed 12 songs in just an hour, enthralling the 55,000 fans at the festival.
Starting from November, BIG BANG will be holding their BIG BANG WORLD TOUR 2015~2016 MADE IN JAPAN. Ending their performance at the A-Nation festival, BIG BANG announced, “Our “MADE” album will be completed soon. See you again in November at our dome tour.” This was good news to the fans that were sorry to see their performance end. BIG BANG is the first foreign artist in history to hold a dome tour in Japan for three years in a row. They will be holding 14 concerts from November until January next year in four cities, and their concerts are expected to draw 701,000 Japanese fans.
BIG BANG’S GD&T.O.P will appear on SBS’s Inkigayo on August 23 and perform “ZUTTER” for their fans in Korea.

GD&T.O.P PERFORM & BIG BANG WINS ON THIS WEEK’S “INKIGAYO” WITH A PERFECT SCORE


Congratulations to BIG BANG for taking their fifth win for “Let’s Not Fall in Love” on the August 23 episode of SBS “Inkigayo.” Not only was it their fifth win, but BIG BANG recorded a perfect score of 11,000 points!
A special bonus for fans came after the awards, when GD & T.O.P, who performed as a unit today, sang “Let’s Not Fall in Love” on their own, taking on their members’ parts.
Coming in at second and third place, respectively, were the Wonder Girls with “I Feel You” and Simon Dominic with “Simon Dominic.”
