Kim Woo Bin to Finally Talk to Big Bang’s G-Dragon on ‘M Countdown’

Kim Woo Bin and G-Dragon will be taking a step to becoming friends with each other. 

Mnet’s M Countdown’s New Year’s special episode will feature MC Kim Woo Bin answering the viewers’ questions. 

Having revealed that he is a fan of G-Dragon, Kim Woo Bin was answering a fan’s question of ‘have you gotten any closer to G-Dragon?’ when all of a sudden G-Dragon got on the phone to talk to him.

When Kim Woo Bin asked the Big Bang member what his new year’s resolution was, G-Dragon surprisingly said, “to get close to Kim Woo Bin.” 

The special new year’s episode of M Countdown will also feature Lee Jong Suk visiting to see Kim Woo Bin, Kim Woo Bin’s choice of the sexiest performance so far, and more.
The episode will air on January 2.

G-Dragon Ranks in Billboard’s "Top 50 Game-Changing EDM Tracks of 2013"

Big Bang’s G-Dragon′s song ranked in Billboard’s "Top 50 Game-Changing EDM Tracks of 2013".

G-Dragon ranked as number 22 in the chart with his song "COUP d’ETAT", as the only Korean artist to do so.

"COUP d'ETAT" is a song featuring Diplo and Baauer, who raked in hits on Youtube with songs like "Harlem Shake" in 2013. The track features G-Dragon’s style of music through powerful beats along with straightforward lyrics.

2013 was a successful year for G-Dragon, who struck his name on top of the charts in and out of Korea, including Billboard’s 2013 Year-End Chart.

He was also recognized for his musical talent through American magazine Complex and New York Times, receiving much praise for being one of the biggest K-Pop artists.

Meanwhile, G-dragon is currently performing with the other Big Bang members for the six dome tour in Japan.

In Korea, it is believed that the entire country's population ages another year during new years. Taeyang  is saying that this New Years he is 27 years old and thus no longer young. Internationally, he is only 25. Koreans use both given birth dates, and traditional dates such as New Years, Korean New Years and such as an age marker. They go by calendar years, where as a person is one year old, not zero, during their first calendar year (not after completing an entire year). For more information, you can read up here.
