YG Entertainment announces YG artists will appear more often on music and variety shows

YG Entertainment is planning to have their artists appear more frequently on music shows.

The YG artists usually made appearances only on SBS' 'Inkigayo', however Yang Hyuk Suk announced that starting with 2NE1's comeback, his artists will be coming out on more music shows. Not only that, the artists will be showing up on more variety shows as well to get closer to their fans. He said, "We will be having some in-depth discussion with our artists about appearing on variety shows, which is something we were holding back until now."
This means we'll be able to see not just 2NE1, but also Big Bang, and other YG Entertainment artists more often!

When asked about his love life, Lee Seung Gi shared, "Inside my heart, I always want to date."
"Although I focused mostly on pretty visuals in the past, I've changed a lot. I like a woman who doesn't make others feel uncomfortable. I prefer a woman who is really bright and shines both inside-and-out. I've previously said that I like women who are 10 years older than me but as of right now, I think that's a bit of a stretch. B.A.P's talented vocalist Daehyun celebrated his 20th birthday (21 in Korean age) on June 28, which also happened to be the day of the group's latest release, "Coffee Shop"!
In addition to taking out ads to wish this charming idol a happy birthday, BABYs also flooded his twitter with mentions as well. In response, Daehyun thanked BABYs by writing, "I am really very, very thankful to the fans and friends who congratulated me on my birthday today. Thank you! Lee Seung Gi recalls his 'bad manner hands' scene with Suzy and Suzy's fans' reactions

Some may remember this as the moment Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) discovered that Yeo Wool (Suzy) is actually a girl, while others may remember it as the day Suzy's uncle fans went into rage mode.

Lee Seung Gi, who remembers that moment as more of the latter, recalled upon the scene and the backlash he received from fans of Suzy in an interview with TVReport.

In regards to acting with the female idol-actress, Lee Seung Gi said humorously, "If you feel uncomfortable around the person you're acting alongside, then your acting just doesn't come out very well. Suzy always made it comfortable for me to do whatever I wanted. For example, if the script called for one kiss scene, but if I felt that two kiss scenes were needed to effectively convey the emotions of the lead character, I would voice my opinion freely and Suzy would take it well. Ah, but if I say things like this, I'll probably be misunderstood? It seems like I might receive harsh comments again."

On the topic of the scene shown above climbing to the top of search engines and remaining there all day, the singer-turned-actor shared, "I expected uncle fans to rise up, but I really didn't think the reaction would be that huge. I think for the first time since my debut, I heard all sorts of curses and harsh comments. Haha. Writer Kang Eun Kyung texted me, 'Thank you for your sacrifice.' Ah, it really was a sacrifice on my end."

However, if you're one of those who spoke badly of Lee Seung Gi when that scene aired, don't fret because he doesn't hold a grudge! He actually understands. "In the past, I was once called the 'nation's little brother', and my noona fans' spirits were quite strong. I think Suzy is in that kind of stage. I think, thanks to Suzy's fans, my mentality has gotten stronger," he stated.

'Book of the House of Gu' recently wrapped up its run, falling a bit short of its goal of breaking 20% in ratings, but it has fared the best among all non-daily weekday dramas as of late.

Former TRAX member and actor, Noh Min Woo, is returning to music with the new band ICON, and has satisfied those clamoring for his 'ICON POP' with the release of the bands debut MV for "ROCK STAR".

ICON is a 3-member band consisting of Monster, DJ Disco, and Noh Min Woo. Using his experience as a musician, Noh Min Woo put his all into the album by participating as a producer, vocalist, drummer, guitarist, composer, and lyricist. The group is also going where no other K-pop artist has gone before by introducing their own musical genre, 'ICON POP', through their debut single album 'ICONIC OH DISCO ROCK STAR'.

The music video itself is continues with the black and white motif of the teaser, while showcasing the skills of the other members.

No Min Woo is now ICON; releases MV teaser for ‘Rockstar’.

Singer, actor, and former TRAX member No Min Woo has a new name. He will now be known as ‘ICON’, and he has formed a three man band together with drummer Monster and DJ Disco. The band will be releasing a new single album, ‘Iconic Oh Disco Rockstar’ with the song ‘Rockstar’ as its title track

The teaser MV for the said track has been released, with ICON showcasing his impressive guitar skills. Aside from being a guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, ICON was also greatly involved in the making of their single album, where he was also the producer, composer, lyricist, and arranger.
